About the Jr. Eagles
Folsom Vista Youth Football and Cheer, also known as Folsom Vista Jr. Eagles, is a California Public Benefit Corporation and has been approved as a Nonprofit Corporation from the California Secretary of State. We are tax exempt as defined by the California State Franchise Board and Internal Revenue Service and we are a 501 c (3) organization. The Board of Directors (Board Members) governs the Corporation based on our established Bylaws.
The overall objective of this organization is to promote an ongoing youth football and cheer program in Folsom, California. We want to inspire within its participants the ideals of good sportsmanship, respect for oneself and others, teamwork and the pride one feels in accomplishing academic and athletic achievement. We want to foster these attributes while teaching the fundamentals of youth football and cheer.
We feel that the Folsom Vista Jr. Eagles offers a positive and supportive environment for our young athletes to learn about tackle football and cheerleading. Folsom Vista Jr. Eagles Board Members and coaches are dedicated to providing quality supervision and safety while teaching football and cheerleading. Our goal is for our athletes to have fun while learning their sport, maintain a positive attitude, and strive for academic excellence.
We operate with the support of community volunteers. All Board Members are parent volunteers or persons interested in the furtherance of our program. Board meetings are held at least once per month. We welcome you to attend these meetings and to share your ideas and concerns.
