2009 Season Volunteer Job Descriptions
Our kid’s will have a fun season and we need your support to make it happen! Please volunteer your time in support of our program. Contact us at president@fvjreagles.com to volunteer. Please see below for open positions:
1. Field Operations Manager
Oversees the field operations for both practices and home games. Coordinates with the Parent Volunteer Coordinator to ensure volunteers assist in prepping field for home games. Works with School/Parks and Recreation staff to ensure program needs are met regarding use of field facilities.
2. Concessions Coordinator
Assists Concession’s Director in purchasing and maintaining concession equipment, food and supplies for Snack Bar at all home games and event’s. Counts monies with Treasurer and counter signs the cash ledger. Parent volunteer hours are covered when volunteering for this position.
3. Football Assistant Equipment Manager
Assists Football Equipment Manager in storing, distributing, maintaining and ordering of all football program equipment. Parent volunteer hours are covered when volunteering for this position.
4. Team Home Field Coordinator
Assists the team's coaching staff with personnel to help set-up or tear-down the field, chain-gang, ensures set up for referees and time/score keeper.
5. Team Field Set-Up or Tear Down
If your team is the first team on the field, you assist setting up yard markers, goal post pads, the game clock, and chains for the home game. If your team is the last team on the field, you assist in returning to storage all the above field equipment. Parent Volunteer Hours are assigned for this position and typically will entail 1 hour of volunteer time.
